Latin America has a growing middle class, which means more people are having budgets for leisure, which include online gambling. According to a study conducted by ResearchAndMarkets.com, the Latin American gambling market will grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 18.4% between 2022 and 2028. Furthermore, according to Statista, Latin America’s online gambling market will grow exponentially to USD 3.4bn in 2025.

The largest country in Latin America is Brazil. With a population of over 215 million people, it is the seventh most populous nation in the world. The country changed its legislation in 2023 to adapt to the increasing iGaming market. As of now, private companies are able to operate sports betting both online and in physical establishments.
