A keyword search made in 2024 confirmed the trend of two years ago, putting roulette as the favorite online casino game in Brazil, followed by poker and slots. The reason roulette is number one might be for its simplicity, which makes it accessible to novices and allows simple bets, such as red or black.

It is also worth noticing that the search volume for slot-related games increased over 400% from February 2022 to February 2024, indicating the growth of this type of game in the country.

Online Lotteries

Online lotteries include bingo, scratch cards and instant win games. As they are easy to access and play, and offer a chance to win money quickly, they are very popular in Latin America and Brazil.

In 2024, the revenue from online lotteries in Latin America is US$ 1.21 billion. The average revenue per user is US$ 224.6.

Mini Games

The interest for mini games, especially crash games, also increased in Latin America. This trend is followed by an increase in smartphone use in the region – over 80% of the population had a device in 2023.

The search volume for minigame-related keywords was over 74 thousand in Argentina in July 2024, more than 49.5 thousand in Mexico, and over 40.5 thousand in Brazil and Colombia.
